All of your passwords saved in Google Chrome can be easily imported to SafePass with the import feature. You can do this in two easy steps:

1. Exporting your passwords from Google Chrome.

2. Importing the file to SafePass using the import feature. Your Google Chrome passwords will be converted to SafePass logins.

Note: you will need to perform these actions on your computer.

How to export from Google Chrome

First, export your passwords from Google Chrome.

  1. Click the Google Chrome menu (three dots) in your toolbar and select Settings.

  2. Click Passwords.

  3. In the Saved passwords section click the three dots and select Export passwords.

  4. Click the Export passwords button, and if requested enter the computer password.

How to import passwords from Google Chrome to SafePass

To import your passwords from Google Chrome to SafePass, you will need to upload the CSV file you’ve exported from Google Chrome to SafePass import feature.

  1. In your SafePass account, open the dropdown menu (near your name) and choose Import.

  2. Select Google Chrome from the options displayed and click Import.

  3. Upload the CSV file with passwords exported from Google Chrome.

  4. At this point you’re able to preview all the passwords that you are importing to SafePass. If you see some discrepancies, you can deselect the items you want to add later on.

Note: make sure to permanently delete the file with your exported passwords after uploading it to SafePass to ensure your data is secure.

 

That’s it! It only takes a couple of minutes to import all of your passwords from Google Chrome to SafePass.
